The audio quality is in no way inferior to the style

FiiO has solved the problem of frequency loss in the low frequency range, typical of classic on-ear models, by incorporating a bass-optimized driver in the EH11. The audio quality of these on-ear headphones is anything but “retro” and offers much more than just adequate sound. Fiio has chosen a 40 mm long-stroke driver with a highly damped composite diaphragm to lower the resonance frequency to 65 Hz. This gives the EH11 powerful, dynamic bass that extends down to 17 Hz and covers the entire spectrum of low-frequency instruments. You'll experience sharper attack and decay on drums, as well as excellent instrument separation and multi-layered depth when enjoying complex classical pieces.

Semi-open design

Ventilated comfort and minimized sound radiation

The semi-open design of the headphones, with ventilation holes and damping filters, eliminates the “stuffy” feeling typically associated with closed headphones. The result is a more natural and transparent sound. Compared to fully open headphones, the damping system controls airflow to minimize sound radiation.

LDAC support for high-resolution Bluetooth

Near-lossless audio quality

The EH11 supports the high-resolution Bluetooth encoding format LDAC*. With a transfer rate of up to 990 kbps, which is about three times that of standard Bluetooth formats (SBC/AAC), LDAC transmits significantly more raw audio data during transmission, resulting in near-lossless sound quality. As one of the few Bluetooth codecs for wireless transmission to receive Hi-Res Wireless certification, it is widely recognized in the industry as a high-quality, high-resolution Bluetooth standard.

*To use this feature, your source device (phone) must support LDAC output. Due to the larger amount of data transmitted, using LDAC results in slightly higher power consumption. The format is enabled by default but can be disabled via the FiiO Control app.

Easy to clean and replace

The foam ear pads are easy to remove and replace, making them easy to clean. Two sets of ear pads in different colors are included in the package. The replacement pair of ear pads is a handy addition to the package, as the original ear pads will need to be replaced at some point.
