Wired over-ear headphones Solid American black walnut shells 60 mm dynamic driver Nanowood fibre composite diaphragm W-shaped suspension seal Closed-back design U-shaped acoustic damping tube Conical baffle plate 32 Ω high sensitivity design 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm headphone cables included High-quality headphone storage bag Sound of nature The FIIO FT1 cups are made from carefully selected American black walnut in FAS quality. The smooth grain of the wood, which is unique to each piece, and the fine texture bring out its natural beauty. This very dense solid wood also helps to effectively reduce cavity resonances and minimise standing waves. 60 mm dynamic driver The FIIO FT1 features a newly developed 60 mm second-generation dynamic driver specifically designed for FIIO's first closed-back over-ear headphones. The larger-than-average driver improves the efficiency of energy conversion and provides a solid foundation for powerful bass. In addition, the larger size of the driver results in lower resonance points at low frequencies, allowing for deeper bass, dynamic sound and an overall authoritative sound. Nanofibre composite cone - paper making technology and the art of sound The cone of the FIIO FT1 is mainly made of carefully selected paper wood fibres based on 90 year old spruce wood from Northern Europe. European spruce is a premium raw material for musical instruments and fibre products, known for its clear and natural sound. Mature northern European spruce wood undergoes a series of processes including soaking, boiling and beating to produce a specific pulp. A certain amount of carbon fibre material is added to meet the acoustic resilience requirements. The membrane is then baked and moulded in a further round so that it finally reaches a thickness of around 0.1 mm, is light and resistant. To bring out the full acoustic performance of the nano wood fibres, a lightweight PU material with high internal resistance is used for the suspension seal, which improves the compliance of the diaphragm and increases elasticity in the low frequency range, enhancing the density of voices from the sound source, resulting in warm, rich voices. In keeping with its overall acoustic concept and high-quality listening experience, the FIIO FT1 uses a nano wood fibre cone. This membrane consists of carefully selected paper fibres in combination with a lightweight PU (polyurethane) suspension seal. It is characterised by excellent high-frequency extension and excellent transient response, resulting in a clean, precise sound with clear imaging and giving you the unique sweet, rich and dense midrange sound of paper cones. This driver works in harmony with the FT1's other acoustic design elements to deliver a specially tuned frequency response for a pure and pleasing sound experience. It's as if the elegant aesthetics of the ‘paper’ driver translate perfectly into beautiful sound. Cutting-edge technology and innovative applications The FIIO FT1, FIIO's first closed-back over-ear headphones, pioneers a new generation of in-house acoustic technology - the W-shaped suspension seal. The 25 mm diameter voice coil is larger compared to similar models and has been specially optimised and tuned. Compared to typical, similarly sized cones, the W-shaped cone achieves a 25.8 % larger effective vibrating area, allowing it to store more energy reserves. The FT1's cone with a hard dome and a compliant suspension seal allows the 25 mm voice coil to drive the stiffer dome region directly. This design minimises vibration losses between the different materials and reduces distortion caused by driver break-up, allowing the FT1 to deliver a more refined sound. Ultra-fine Japanese CCAW voice coil To ensure a robust and high-quality sound, the FIIO FT1 uses a specially imported Japanese ultra-fine CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminium Wire) voice coil with a diameter of up to 25 mm. A longer copper wire of the voice coil can directly improve the efficiency of the transducer and the drive capacity, resulting in a better transient response and a purer, more pleasant sound. Each individual wire core in the CCAW coil has a diameter of approx. 0.035 mm and is therefore as thin as a hair. In addition, the voice coil frame of the FT1 is made of lightweight KSV (Kapton), which also contributes to a significant reduction in overall cone mass. The result is improved response speed and minimised reverberation. Closed-back design The FT1 is FIIO's first closed-back over-ear headphones and incorporates a number of features specifically designed to enhance the closed-back listening experience. A series of sound-absorbing components in the FT1 effectively reduce ambient noise, including external voices and ambient noise, by up to 26 dB. Whether you're commuting, editing recordings, working in the office or gaming, the FT1 lets you immerse yourself in a high-fidelity audio world. It is a truly great sounding all-rounder headphone. U-shaped sound attenuation tube for improved noise reduction The U-shaped sound attenuation tube specially developed for the FIIO FT1 not only improves passive noise reduction, but also ensures that sound energy is channelled through the flute over a certain length and angle, increasing the air viscosity and reducing the resonance frequency of the cavity. This further improves the bass expansion. You will clearly feel the air movement and the focussed power of percussion and strings. Conical baffle The pursuit of excellent sound has always been the essence of hi-fi. Based on the characteristics of the FT1 dynamic drivers, the development team has designed a conical baffle for them. This device allows the entire driver to be positioned parallel to the human ear, breaking sound convergence and avoiding standing waves. The result is minimal attenuation of high frequencies for true hi-fi sound quality. 32-Ω design with high sensitivity The FIIO FT1 is designed to provide users with a high-quality hi-fi experience in various usage scenarios. To achieve this, the FT1 has a low impedance of 32Ω and offers an acoustic sensitivity of 113dB/Vrms@1kHz (equivalent to 98dB/mW@1kHz). This significantly reduces the need for drive power, allowing you to enjoy outstanding sound quality effortlessly. Adaptive 3-axis headband The FT1 has inherited the excellent ergonomic design of the FIIO FT series. The adaptive 3-axis headband allows free rotation at different angles. This design adapts to different head sizes and ensures a snug fit on the head for improved comfort and minimised sound loss. 10Hz-40kHz ultra-wide frequency response The FIIO FT1 has a frequency response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz, providing a studio-like listening experience. Every little detail is reproduced cleanly, just as you would expect from a professional audio device. Lightweight, portable headband To make the FT1 headband more portable and lighter, it is equipped with high-quality steel rails that significantly increase the durability of the headband. You will feel the precision and sophistication of the mechanical construction every time you adjust the headband. In addition, compared to similar products, the FT1 offers an extended adjustment range from 0 to 11 clicks to adapt to different head sizes. The part of the headband that comes into contact with the head is made of lychee leather for a soft and comfortable feel. Breathable fabric ear pads Experience comfortable long listening sessions and say goodbye to congestion. The FT1 is equipped with breathable fabric ear pads, which are made of a textile material that comes into contact with your skin. The high-density, breathable mesh design efficiently dissipates the heat that builds up between the ear pads and your ears. The side of the ear pads is made of protein leather, which not only looks good, but feels good too. Dual TRS headphone jacks The FIIO FT1 features two 3.5mm TRS headphone jacks, allowing you to easily switch and upgrade to a different headphone cable. Includes high-quality headphone storage bag The FT1 comes with a high-quality headphone storage bag, made with the same materials and techniques used by top French brands. It offers a refined and elegant look rarely found in this class, but undoubtedly useful for protection. 2 silver-plated oxygen-free copper cables included The brand new FT1 comes with two headphone cables - with 3.5 mm plugs (single-ended) and 4.4 mm plugs (balanced). Both cables are identical and consist of an oxygen-free, copper-coated silver wire base with 392 wires, have a thickness of 24AWG and are 1.5 metres long. Closed-back headphones Natural purpleheart wood Large dynamic 60 mm driver Diaphragm made of wool composite nanofiber wood W-shaped diaphragm Closed design U-shaped damping tube Low impedance, high sensitivity, easy to drive Furukawa monocrystal copper + silver-plated, oxygen-free copper braided cable Lambskin/suede ear padssuede included 4 detachable audio plugs included Yaoli linen storage bag Naturally magical colors, gracefully enchanting purple The creation of the FT13's wooden ear cups Following the success of our FT1 wooden headphones, FiiO began searching for new types of wood to bring their unique appeal to more people. This time, FiiOs search led them to a “purple treasure” from the ancient rainforests of South America: purpleheart wood. This wood is not only exceptionally hard, but also captivates with its unique color. Over time, its light brown hue gradually transforms into an unforgettable, deep purple. Creating the vibrant wooden ear cups requires a blend of nature's magic and FiiO's meticulous craftsmanship. Purpleheart has been used for instruments, furniture, and other items since the 1920s. After a long journey from South America, the wood arrives in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, where it is stabilized in a hot oven and cut with precision. It is then stored for months in a dark room, where it slowly “develops” its fascinating wine-red color. This wood then undergoes a final, intensive process of selection, cutting, CNC carving, polishing, and varnishing before it is ready for the final product. Due to its rarity in nature, purple has long been considered a symbol of mystery, power, and individuality—with deep cultural significance. It is precisely this color, which ages beautifully over time, that is our inspiration. It allows us to perfectly express the original intention of our wooden headphone series—to blend into the natural world and age elegantly over time. Ear cups made from natural purpleheart wood Natural colors, solid and hard The headphone ear cups are made from purpleheart wood, a type of wood native to South America. To achieve its rich color, each piece of wood is left to age naturally for 90 days. Due to their individual characteristics, each wooden ear cup has a unique grain and color tone, making each pair of headphones truly one of a kind. The raw wood is first cut to size with precision using CNC milling. To achieve a perfect finish, FiiO then apply a high-gloss lacquering process in which the wood is repeatedly sanded, polished, and the natural pores and unevenness are filled until the surface is completely smooth. Finally, a final coat of high-gloss lacquer is applied, bringing out the unique, natural grain of the wood. With a density and hardness far exceeding that of ordinary woods, purpleheart wood is not only naturally corrosion-resistant, but also helps to minimize resonance in the headphone ear cups. The result is a faster and clearer sound. *This wood comes from the tropical rainforests of South America and is known for its stunning purple-brown color and superior strength. It is often used for high-quality furniture, musical instruments, and decorative items. Its unique color is not artificially applied, but is the result of natural oxidation. With prolonged exposure to light and air, the color of the wood gradually darkens, eventually taking on a deeper purple-brown or chestnut hue. Large 60 mm dynamic driver Enjoy deep bass and a wide soundstage Like the FT1, the FT13 features a massive 60 mm dynamic driver, a size that is almost unheard of in its category. This larger driver produces more power and converts electrical signals into sound more efficiently. The result is sound with less distortion, faster transients, and deeper, more powerful bass. Wool composite nanofiber wood cone European wood, honed from over 100 years of paper manufacturing expertise The new cone is made from birch wood sourced from the cold climates of Europe. The extreme cold makes the wood incredibly hard and gives it strong fibers. This unique property allows us to precisely tune the resistance and stiffness of the diaphragm during manufacturing to achieve our desired sound goals. Using the same traditional paper-making process as for the FT1 cone, a method that has been around for over 100 years and is still widely used by various hi-fi brands, the raw materials are processed into pulp through soaking, steaming, and beating. During this process, lighter and harder carbon fiber threads are added to increase the stiffness of the diaphragm and reduce unwanted breakage, improving detail in the high frequency range. The diaphragm is then baked and molded to a thickness of only 0.1 mm. By adding wool fibers to the paper diaphragm, FiiO take advantage of their natural flexibility to fine-tune the sound. This gives the finished diaphragm a uniquely natural and warm sound character that is both captivating and profoundly emotional. W-shaped diaphragm Proprietary acoustic technology for higher efficiency The headphones feature a W-shaped diaphragm design inspired by speaker diaphragms. Compared to the driver diaphragms typically used in headphones, this design increases the effective vibration area of the diaphragm by 25.8%. The diaphragm consists of a hard dome and a flexible surround. This rigid dome covers a larger surface area than conventional diaphragms, and since it is driven directly by the voice coil, less energy is lost during vibration transmission. Compared to a more flexible material, the hard dome has lower internal losses, resulting in higher efficiency and lower distortion due to driver breakup. Closed design Greater immersion through reduced noise, enjoy pure, quiet sound Beyond the natural isolation of its closed wooden ear cups, the FT13 features an integrated system of passive noise reduction components. These include a standing wave dissipation chamber, specially designed sound-absorbing cotton in the rear cavity, and a noise-reducing U-shaped tube. Together, these components can reduce everyday ambient noise by up to 26 dB. The closed design also prevents sound from escaping, making the headphones perfect for quiet environments such as offices, libraries, or dorm rooms without disturbing others. U-shaped damping tube An invisible hand that reduces resonance Inside the FT13, a U-shaped damping tube cleverly uses the air inside the headphones to tune the sound. The design of this tube has been carefully optimized to lower the resonance frequency of the cavity, resulting in deeper, higher-quality bass. Low impedance, high sensitivity, easy to drive Your entry-level headphones The impedance, sensitivity, and frequency response of the FT13 make it the ideal choice for listeners taking their first steps into the world of personal audio equipment. It pairs perfectly with popular, non-audiophile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Experience high-fidelity sound in audiophile quality without having to invest in expensive or complex equipment. Large CCAW voice coil Lightweight, wide, powerful The FT13 features a CCAW voice coil imported from Japan with an ultra-thin 0.035 mm wire and a lightweight KSV body. These components significantly reduce the moving mass of the diaphragm, resulting in faster sound reproduction and less unnecessary reverberation. The voice coil has a diameter of 25 mm. In a fixed magnetic field and at constant current, a larger coil diameter means a longer voice coil wire. A longer copper wire thus results in greater driving force and higher efficiency, leading to a richer midrange and faster transients. Adjustable magnesium alloy headband Advanced materials, improved comfort The FT13 offers a significant improvement in headband comfort through comprehensive improvements in materials, aesthetics, and ergonomics. The outer U-shaped frame is now made of a strong and lightweight magnesium alloy that blends seamlessly into the design of the headphones. The ball-bearing slider features a high-quality design found in high-end headphones, offering a silky-smooth adjustment with clear feedback, while the swivel joints and connections are more robust than ever. The part of the headband that comes into contact with your head has been replaced with soft, durable lambskin leather, which is both more durable and breathable than the synthetic leather commonly used, providing greater comfort during longer listening sessions. Three-axis swivel mechanism Swivels as desired, freely adjustable After extensive ergonomic testing, FiiO implemented a three-axis adaptive swivel mechanism that continues the FT series' tradition of excellent ergonomics. This design not only ensures that the headphones comfortably adapt to different head sizes and shapes, but also allows for a perfect fit without sound leakage. Angled driver design Reduces standing waves for clearer sound In the FT13, the acoustic drivers are angled to run parallel to your ear canals, so the sound reaches your eardrums directly. This not only reduces the high-frequency drop you would get with a conventional design, but also minimizes standing waves inside the ear cups. The result is a much clearer, purer sound with less distortion. Furukawa monocrystalline copper + silver-plated oxygen-free copper Improved cable, improved sound This cable is constructed with an 8-strand braided design and contains a total of 1,000 conductor wires. It is a blend of 500 secondary-melted Furukawa single-crystal copper wire conductors and 500 oxygen-free silver-plated copper wire conductors, each with a polarity of 17 AWG. This combination of high-quality metals and advanced processing techniques enables the cable to deliver truly outstanding sound quality. Furukawa single-crystal copper Increases the richness and density of the midrange and improves bass quality, making the mid and low frequencies sound full and emotional. Silver-plated oxygen-free copper, the silver plating helps to improve the conductivity and high-frequency transmission characteristics of the copper, enhancing sound transparency with more detail and optimized overtones, as well as an expanded soundstage. Lambskin/suede ear pads Velvety texture, reliably durable Two types of ear pads are included, both of which feature a skin-friendly, breathable, and durable outer material. Inside the ear pads is a low-density, slow-rebound memory foam that conforms to the shape of the ear. Compared to the synthetic leather ear pads commonly used in headphones, these offer both greater comfort and a longer service life. The high-quality ear pads made of natural lambskin have a velvety smooth surface that is also breathable, sweat-resistant, and easy to clean. In terms of sound, these ear pads deliver detailed highs, clear and clean mids, and fast bass. The suede ear pads have a matte texture, are durable and flexible, yet cool and breathable. In terms of sound, these ear pads enhance the bass, add richness to vocals, and enhance the sense of atmosphere. Four detachable plugs included Wide compatibility The FT13 comes with four detachable audio plugs, allowing one cable to be used with different audio sources. Hi-Res Audio certified Reliably excellent sound The certification is not only proof that the headphones meet international standards, but also of our continuous pursuit of better sound quality. Yaoli linen storage bag Stylish and dust-proof, so you don't have to worry The headphones come with a high-quality Yaoli linen storage bag, which further enhances the ownership experience. With materials and workmanship that rival those of premium French brands, its exquisite quality and excellent texture provide special protection for your valuable device. 3 significant improvements Improved sound: Compared to the spruce wood diaphragm of the FT1, the FT13 features a birch wood diaphragm that is many times harder to improve the precision of the diaphragm. In addition, carbon fiber has been added to increase the stiffness of the diaphragm and reduce unwanted driver interruptions, resulting in higher treble resolution compared to the FT1. Improved cable: Compared to the FT1's silver-plated oxygen-free copper cable, the FT13's secondary-refined Furukawa monocrystal copper and high-purity oxygen-free silver-plated copper cables are an improvement in every respect. The materials used, the number of wires, and even the wire diameter have been improved, resulting in a comprehensive improvement across the entire frequency range (lows, mids, and highs).Improved comfort: Compared to the FT1, the FT13 offers comprehensive ergonomic improvements. Both the headband and ear pads have been replaced with more breathable materials that are also wear-resistant and less prone to flaking. The headband is made of a lighter magnesium-aluminum alloy, and the feel and design of the ball-bearing slider have been improved. High-end hi-fi, easily accessible32-Ω design A sense of relaxation wrapped in dense mids and bass The 32-Ω version of the FT3 focuses on delivering lush but very textured mids and bass. The bass is very present and robust, yet very controlled and detailed. The mids are also lush and relaxed, making the FT3 very pleasant to listen to.60 mm large dynamic driverSound is created by the vibration of material - so the choice of driver is very important to sound quality. The FT3 features a large 60 mm dynamic driver, which is unusual in its class. Compared to a smaller driver, the FT3 can expel more air and convert the energy into sound more efficiently - resulting in a more natural yet robust sound with a wide soundstage. The FT3's large dynamic driver has other advantages as well. For example, the diaphragm's size enables it to carry a higher output power, resulting in less distortion from large dynamic signals. In addition, the larger driver is more easily able to produce lower frequencies to achieve deeper bass.Sophisticated design - Beryllium-coated gasket + DLC diaphragm. The diaphragm is one of the most important components of a dynamic driver. And not every diaphragm material can meet the FT3's requirements due to the large driver size. After countless tests at FiiO, an LCP/aluminium coated driver/seal was chosen for the more portable 32 Ohm version. The seal of the FT3 driver is coated with aluminium. This not only results in a lighter gasket (and thus a lighter driver), but also a stiffer gasket that is better able to handle the movements of the large dynamic driver, resulting in less distortion. The FT3's diaphragm is made of LCP, which is very robust and lightweight compared to other diaphragm materials. This means that the FT3 driver is less prone to breakage and therefore non-linear distortion, while at the same time having an extremely extended frequency response and improved soundstage.Pure sound - 32Ω high impedance. The voice coil is made of ultra-fine copper-clad Japanese aluminium with a diameter of only 0.035mm. This finer voice coil allows the driver to follow signals better and faster, has anti-interference capabilities and enables thunderous dynamics over a wide frequency response range.Hear the artist's intent - Asymmetrical internal and external magnetic circuit system. The FT3 uses powerful N52 neodymium magnets to maximise sound quality at an impedance of 32Ω. These magnets are arranged in an optimised asymmetrical internal and external magnetic circuit system. When the voice coil begins to move during sound reproduction, the optimised magnetic circuit compensates for this voice coil and diaphragm movement, especially during large dynamic changes - allowing more effective use of magnetic energy and better control over the voice coil.Quality cable - monocrystalline copper wireThe FiiO FT3 comes standard with a 1.5m m cable with a diameter of 23 AWG, made of high-purity monocrystalline copper wire.Outer shell material: TPEShielding layer: PCOCC-A (26/0.12X2)Insulating layer: PFA Conductor: PCOCC-A (3/20/0.8X2AWG23)Outer diameter: 2.4mmx2 (parallel structure)Widely compatible - 4 interchangeable audio connectors are standard
The FT3 cable is equipped with the following 4 types of interchangeable connectors:3.5mm / 4.4mm interchangeable plugs3,5-mm-auf-6,35-mm-Adapter4.4mm to XLR-4 balanced adapter*The interchangeable audio plugs are officially patented by FABRILOUS.Lighter and stronger - aluminium alloy construction. The FT3's exterior is made entirely of aluminium alloy, which is not only luxurious to the touch, but also very strong yet lightweight. This gives the FT3 the perfect combination of a comfortable listening experience and enough durability to withstand life's challenges.Full comfort - with lightweight, hollow mesh designThe FT3's design starts with hexagonal elements as a base, which combine with the usual look of open-back headphones to create a bold sci-fi appearance. The open-back design features a hollowed-out mesh to not only further reduce weight and increase listening comfort, but also to fully showcase the driver's capabilities in a more open environment.Removes a layer of veil from your music - Open DesignThe FT3 features an open-back design that reduces unwanted vibration and resonance, resulting in a bigger soundstage because when the driver pushes air into the cabinet, the open back means the air hits it. The result is that details in the music are reproduced more clearly and naturally in a wide, open soundstage, as if you were listening to a live performance.Freely rotatable 3-axis swivel designThe FT3 has been extensively tested for fit in the FiiO labs, and the 3-axis swivel design is a result of this testing. The 3-axis swivel design has been specifically developed to allow the FT3 to better fit a variety of head and face shapes, improving comfort and seal and maximising sound quality.Innovative details - angled drivers parallel to the earThe FT3's drivers are angled so that they are parallel to the ear when worn. This helps reduce the high frequency response caused by waves hitting the contour of the ear rather than entering it. Angled drivers can also minimise unwanted reflections caused by the headphone cup that would result in standing waves, and also reduce frequency response distortion. In addition, the back of the FT3 cone features a reflective tip specifically designed to direct the sound waves generated by the driver so that unwanted reflections do not interfere with each other, reducing both sonic errors and unwanted artefacts in the frequency response.Rich sounds2 sets of different sounding ear padsThe FT3 comes with 2 sets of ear pads, each with a different soundVelour ear pads: Balanced sound, enhanced atmosphere, majestic experienceLeather replica ear pads: Clear sound, large soundstage, high detailThorough protection - storage bag includedThe FT3 comes with a storage bag that provides comprehensive protection for your headphones in a lightweight but luxurious package.FiiO FT3 Basic SpecificationsHeadphone type: Dynamic driver headphonesFrequency range: 7Hz-40kHzDriver type: 60mm dynamic driverDiaphragm material:LCP aluminium metal plated + aluminum metal diaphragmImpedance: 32ΩSensitivity: 110dB (1Vrms)@1kHzWeight: Approximately 391g (without cable)Ear cushion pressure: 4.0N±0.3NCable length: Approx. 1.5mCable material: 392 strand monocrystalline copper wireHeadphone connector: Dual 3.5 mm

The 350Ω design also gives you much room to explore its sound quality. With a powerful, high-quality amplifier you can tap into the vast sound potential of the FT3 350Ω version – experience its fully extended treble and bass, vast soundstage, and ultimately relaxing yet powerful soun
Art of harnessing energy for great sound - 60mm large dynamic driverSound comes from the vibration of material – thus, the choice of the driver is quite important in determining sound quality. The FT3 features a large 60mm dynamic driver, uncommon in its class. Compared to a smaller driver, the FT3 can push more air and convert energy into the sound more efficiently – resulting in a more natural yet robust sound with an expansive soundstage. The FT3’s large dynamic driver also has other benefits. For example, due to its large size, the diaphragm is capable of bearing higher output power, leading to less distortion under large dynamic signals. Also, the larger driver is more easily able to produce lower frequencies for deeper reaching bass.
Thoughtfully designed - Beryllium-plated gasket + DLC diaphragmThe diaphragm is one of the most important parts of a dynamic driver. And not just any diaphragm material can meet the demands of the FT3 due to the large driver size. After countless testing at FiiO, a beryllium-plated gasket + DLC diaphragm was chosen. The FT3 driver gasket is plated with beryllium. This not only results in a lighter gasket (and thus a lighter driver), but also a more rigid gasket better able to handle the movement of the large dynamic driver for less distortion. The diaphragm of the FT3 is made of DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon), – which is both highly sturdy and lightweight compared to other diaphragm materials. This means that the FT3 driver is less prone to breakup and thus nonlinear distortion, while also having an extremely extended frequency response and improved soundstage.
Pure sound - 350Ω high impedanceThe FT3 was designed with great sound as the primary goal, and features 350Ω impedance to achieve that. Compared to lower impedance headphones, higher impedance headphones more effectively filter out noise to the listener resulting in a purer sound with higher signal-to-noise ratio performanceThe voice coil is made of ultra-fine Japanese copper-clad aluminum only 0.035mm thick in diameter. This finer voice coil allows the driver to better and more quickly follow signals, has anti-interference capabilities, and allows for thunderous dynamics across a wide frequency response range.Hear the artist’s intent - Asymmetrical internal and external magnetic circuit systemThe FT3 utilizes powerful N52 neodymium magnets to maximize sound quality under its 350Ω impedance design. These magnets have been arranged in an optimized asymmetrical internal and external magnetic circuit system. When the voice coil starts to move during the reproduction of sound, the optimized magnetic circuit balances this movement of the voice coil and diaphragm, especially during large dynamic changes - which allows more effective use of magnetic energy and better control over the voice coil. Quality cable - Furukawa monocrystalline copper wireStandard with the FT3 is a 3m, 23AWG diameter cable consisting of high-purity Furukawa monocrystalline copper wire.Outer shell material: TPEShielding layer: PCOCC-A (26/0.12X2) Insulating layer: PFA Conductor: PCOCC-A (3/20/0.8X2AWG23)Outermost diameter: 2.4mmx2 (parallel structure)Widely compatible - 4 swappable audio plugs come standardThe FT3 cable features swappable plugs of the following 4 kinds:3.5mm/4.4mm swappable plugs3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter4.4mm to XLR-4 balanced adapter*Interchangeable audio plugs are officially licensed from the patent by FABRILOUS.Lighter and stronger - Aluminum alloy constructionThe exterior of the FT3 is made entirely of aluminum alloy that not only feels luxurious to the touch, but is also highly rigid yet lightweight. This gives the FT3 the perfect combination of being comfortable to listen to and being durable enough to withstand life’s challenges.Full of comfort - With a lightweight hollow mesh designThe FT3’s design begins with hexagonal elements as its base, and when combined with how open-backed headphones usually look, gives off a bold sci-fi appearance. The open-back design features a hollowed-out mesh to not only further reduce the weight for greater listening comfort, but also to fully unleash the capabilities of its driver in a more open environment. Removing a layer of veil from your music - Open-backed designThe FT3 features an open-backed design that reduces unwanted vibrations and resonances and results in a larger soundstage, since when the driver is pushing air in the housing the open-back means that air encounters. The result is that details in the music come through more clearly and naturally in a wide open soundstage, just as if you were listening to a live performance.Free to rotate - 3-axis swiveling designThe FT3 has undergone much fit testing in FiiO Labs, and the 3-axis swiveling design is one result of that testing. The 3-axis swiveling design was specifically made so that the FT3 could better fit a wide variety of head and face shapes for improved comfort and better seal to maximize sound quality.Innovative touches - Angled drivers parallel to the earThe FT3’s driver is placed at an angle to be parallel to the ear when worn, which helps to reduce high-frequency response caused by the waves hitting the contour of the ear and not entering it. Angled drivers can also minimize unwanted reflections caused by the shell of the headphone that would cause standing waves and also reduce frequency response distortion. Additionally, towards the rear of the FT3’s shell is a reflective tip that is specifically designed to direct soundwaves produced by the driver to prevent unwanted reflections from interfering with each other, to both further minimize sound flaws and reduce unwanted frequency response artifacts. Discover manufacturing and technology in the micrometer rangePlanar magnetic drivers lie between dynamic and electrostatic headphones in terms of sound. As with dynamic headphones, there is a kind of coil on the planar driver. Similar to electrostatic headphones, the diaphragm is a special type of thin foil in the micrometer range. These properties of the planar driver make it possible to develop headphones that not only sound very detailed, but can also be easily powered. The FT5 is the first planar magnetic headphone from FIIO that gives your sound the energy of a thunderstorm.Large 90 mm planar magnetic driverThe FIIO FT5 has an outstanding large 90 mm planar magnet driver. Compared to a conventional dynamic driver, a planar magnet driver converts sound energy into sound waves in a more balanced way by vibrating much more evenly. The vibrations are distributed over the entire diaphragm of the driver and there is hardly any distortion caused by the stiffness of the diaphragm material. This allows the FIIO FT5 to reproduce audio signals truthfully and accurately, faithfully reproducing every single note and giving you lossless hi-fi sound.Thin as a cicada's wing - ultra-thin 6μm diaphragmWhen designing the FiiO FT5, the development team didn't just blindly chase bigger (or smaller) numbers - rather, everything was designed to meet stringent sound performance targets. FiiO realized that a diaphragm that is too thin can easily cause the coils attached to the diaphragm to fall off, leaving the user with unusable headphones. Therefore, after extensive testing, the FiiO development team determined that a thickness of 6μm was the ideal balance between sound performance and reliability. For the diaphragm itself, the FiiO development team investigated various materials such as PET, PEI and PAR. After extensive sound quality and reliability testing, the development team chose PAR thanks to its superior performance on the above criteria compared to other materials. The PAR diaphragm is not only the backbone of the FT5's excellent dynamics and highly detailed sound, but also of the rich bass not normally found in headphones with planar magnet technology.Coils made of micron-coated aluminum-silver alloyIn a flat driver diaphragm with a printed coil, almost all the weight is concentrated on the metal-coated coils. When developing the FiiO FT5, R&D engineers had to consider not only how the coils would interact with the 6 μm thin diaphragm, but also the density and conductivity of the coils themselves. After examining and testing various common materials used to make planar coils, FIIO engineers concluded that the lighter aluminum alloy material was best suited for the coils. They also found that the addition of silver metal would improve the conductivity of the coils, making it easier to power the driver without losing the high-frequency detail and full sound characteristic of good planar magnet drivers.Nanoscale diaphragm coating High-end sound that is truly audibleThe coils of the FT5 driver are printed onto the diaphragm using high-end technology from the semiconductor industry, which not only makes the thickness of the coils more uniform, but also distributes the weight of the coils more evenly - ultimately resulting in more uniform diaphragms for a more precise sound.20 neodymium magnets per driver - the way to balanceTo ensure greater wearing comfort, 11 magnets are placed on the inside and 9 magnets on the outside of the FT5 flat magnet driver, resulting in 20 magnets per channel and a total of 40 magnets for the entire headphones. Due to the balanced arrangement of the magnets, the aluminum alloy coils are evenly distributed in the magnetic field. In addition, the driver's diaphragm is balanced between the forces of the inner and outer magnets, ensuring smooth movement of the driver and therefore less distortion for higher fidelity. The power of balanceThe FT5 uses N52 neodymium magnets with a magnetic density of up to 1.5T to generate the strong forces required to drive the large planar magnetic driver. These magnets are arranged parallel to the coils of the driver so that the coils are evenly distributed in the magnetic field to maximize the driving force of the headphones and utilize the full potential of the planar magnetic driver.High sensitivity and easy power supplyPlanar magnetic headphones traditionally have low sensitivity, leading many users of such headphones to use a large desktop audio device to realize their full potential. Planar magnetic headphones traditionally cannot be heard sufficiently when traveling. However, the FT5 is not like traditional planar magnetic headphones. Thanks to 20 neodymium magnets with a high magnetic density of up to 1.5T, a 6μm thin diaphragm and nano-level aluminum alloy coating technology, the FT5's driver is both lightweight and strong, enabling a high sensitivity of 110dB/1Vrms@1kHz, i.e. 96dB/mW@1kHz. This allows the FT5 to be easily driven by portable players, so you can experience the full sound wherever you go.Lightweight magnesium alloy constructionThe design of a planar magnetic driver involves the number of magnets to be used and their stacking, with more magnets meaning more weight. Therefore, the materials that make up the outer shell of a planar magnetic headphone must be carefully selected to balance sound quality and weight. The FiiO FT5 is made from a magnesium alloy. Since a magnesium alloy has only 64% of the density of an aluminum alloy, the FT5 can be built much lighter, allowing for long and comfortable listening.Better performing metal constructionWhen designing the FT5, the FiiO development team paid particular attention to the strong vibrations generated by the massive 90 mm planar magnet driver. This is why the FT5 is made of metal, which is much better able to withstand the vibrations generated by the driver - such as those caused by playing bass-heavy tracks - than a plastic housing.Open designTo maximize its potential, the FT5 also features a specially designed open back acoustic structure. The rear of the driver enclosure has been carefully designed to act as a baffle to isolate the sound waves at the front and rear of the driver enclosure. The FT5's grille is scientifically designed to control and precisely accelerate the airflow as the speaker moves. This not only gives the FT5 a treble resolution unmatched by dynamic headphones, but also a wide and expansive soundstage that further immerses you in the symphony.Conversation with an engineerEvery detail contributes to excellent sound "In a dynamic driver, the voice coil vibrates, causing the entire diaphragm to vibrate to produce the sound. However, this can easily lead to uneven vibrations across different parts of the diaphragm, resulting in distortion when reproducing higher frequencies. The diaphragm of a planar magnetic loudspeaker is a large flat surface on which the coils are distributed and which is moved by a uniform magnetic field. In contrast to dynamic loudspeakers, the sound of a planar magnetic loudspeaker is produced by a more uniform movement of the entire membrane, resulting in less uneven oscillation between the different parts and therefore less distortion. The principle of sound generation of planar magnetic drivers is most similar to that of electrostatic drivers. Compared to dynamic drivers, the biggest advantage of planar magnetic drivers is their excellent high-frequency performance, thanks to the extremely thin diaphragm of the driver. Because the FT5's diaphragm, which is only 6 µm thick, is driven by many parallel magnets, the planar magnet driver is extremely responsive and dynamic, delivering a truly satisfying level of detail."Joseph Chief Engineer of FIIO IEM's R&D CenterProfessional design that really moves you - Excellent phase coherence throughout the frequency rangeThe FiiO FT5 is a planar magnetic headphone in which the coils of the planar driver are distributed over the entire diaphragm. In contrast to dynamic drivers, which only vibrate at certain points, the entire diaphragm surface of the planar driver vibrates. This leads to a more synchronized movement over the entire driver and thus to a better phase distortion compared to dynamic drivers. Through simulations and analysis of a large amount of experimental data, the FT5 planar driver's coils have been optimally placed to ensure an evenly distributed magnetic field for consistent phase performance across all frequencies - for a clear and true listening experience.Follow your heart without constraint 3-axis swivel capabilityThe FT5 features the excellent 3-axis swivel design used on other FT Series headphones. This allows the ear cups to rotate freely and attach to your head, regardless of the angle or size of your head, providing a better quality and seal.Good sound, made from good materials - 392 wires of high-purity, silver-plated, monocrystalline copper cableThe FiiO FT5 comes with a 1.5 m cable consisting of 392 wires of silver-plated monocrystalline copper, each wire having a diameter of 23 AWG. The copper wires provide a solid and highly detailed sound that is passed directly to you without loss.Widely compatible - 4 interchangeable audio plugs includedThe FT5 comes with 4 interchangeable audio plugs:3.5mm/4.4mm interchangeable plugs3,5-mm-auf-6,35-mm-Adapter4.4mm to XLR-4 balanced adapter*The patent for interchangeable audio plugs has been licensed by FABRILOUS.Fully protected - case includedThe FT5 comes with a lightweight yet luxurious case that comfortably protects your headphones.
Open planar headphones 106 mm planar driver Patented gold+silver multi-layer coating 1μm thin special membrane Zebra wood grille Uniform magnetic field 18x N52 neodymium magnets per driver 427g lightweight Carbon fiber construction 2 different ear pads included Liquid nitrogen-frozen monocrystalline copper cableCustom Yaoli linen storage bag Proprietary driver, a highlight of many technologies 106 mm planar driver “When I listen to a large 15-inch speaker, I feel its rich energy reserves, how effortlessly it reproduces sound, and the low-frequency energy that pushes the air forward, which the listener can feel—it creates a real sense of presence. This time, I've transferred that experience to headphones with a newly developed and designed full-size 106mm planar driver. Several innovative acoustic patent technologies are used to further enhance the ultra-low frequency response capabilities of planar headphones.” -Joseph Chief Engineer of the FiiO IEM R&D Center Gold and silver bring out the best in each other Patented multi-layer gold and silver coating of the coils The FT7 uses FiiO's proprietary planar driver technology*—a patented multi-layer coating system. The planar driver uses high-performance PET as the diaphragm substrate and selectively applies gold and silver to create a multi-layer coated driver, thus utilizing the advantages of these two precious metals. This allows the FT7 to deliver an extremely detailed yet charming sound. Gold: Gold has a high density, very high internal resistance, and excellent ductility. The additional gold coating improves the damping of the membrane, making the mid and low frequencies sound relaxed and pleasant. Silver: Silver is characterized by low resistance and high electrical conductivity. High-frequency currents flow quickly and with minimal loss through pure silver material, resulting in very detailed highs. In addition, silver is not very dense and is lightweight, which improves the sensitivity of the driver. *Patent number: ZL2024205488218 Top-of-the-line planar driver 1μm thin diaphragm Engineers have constantly strived to develop thinner and lighter diaphragms for planar drivers. After two years of independent research and development, FiiO has developed a class-leading, ultra-thin 1μm diaphragm for the FT7, which uses high-performance PET as the carrier material. The difference between a 2μm and a 1μm diaphragm thickness results in noticeable performance differences when the diaphragm vibrates at high speeds, which ultimately affects the sound quality. The FT7's ultra-thin 1 μm diaphragm is exceptionally light and can respond at lightning speed. It reproduces even subtle sounds in the ultra-high frequency range faithfully and offers an exceptional dynamic range. *The driver is printed with the words “Designed and manufactured by FIIO”. Advanced technology for advanced sound 28 nm process technology To ensure that the driver diaphragm can be manufactured to a sufficiently high standard, the FiiO FT7 driver is manufactured using a 28 nm process. Inspired by the coating technology used in the semiconductor industry, this technique completely isolates the conductive circuit material from the ambient air. The conductor material is placed in a vacuum with a pressure of 6.6 × 10-³ pascals, and the temperature is raised to 120 °C. The conductor material is converted into ionized particles, which then accumulate on an ultra-thin 1 μm film through the principle of charge attraction. This process achieves the desired layer thickness for optimal acoustics and significantly increases the durability and service life of the conductor tracks*. *Contrary to popular belief that planar drivers have a short service life, the proprietary driver was subjected to aging tests in FiiO laboratories for over a year. During this test period, there were no cases of delamination, separation, or wire breakage in general. The sound quality continues to meet standards. Flowing stripes, a natural work of art Natural zebrawood grille The front cover of the FT7 grille is made of zebrawood sourced from West Africa from trees that normally grow at an altitude of 1,600 meters. Its grain resembles the flowing patterns of a zebra, a dynamic animal that well represents the unique wilderness of the West African highlands. Each grille strip is precisely aligned with the magnet positions, resulting in a reduction in sound wave interference caused by reflections from the grille. Balanced energy, even power Patented uniform magnetic field design Finite element analysis shows that conventional rectangular magnet designs have uneven magnetic fields, with some areas particularly strong and others weak. This results in uneven forces acting on the voice coils within the magnetic field, which can cause the driver to fail due to uneven movement and thus lead to distortion. The FT7 is equipped with FiiO's patented acoustic technology – the Uniform Magnetic Field Design. Through the optimized arrangement of the magnetic circuit and the use of magnets with rounded corners, FiiO is able to achieve a uniform magnetic field that ensures that all parts of the planar driver diaphragm are evenly loaded. This reduces driver breakup and minimizes distortion. Patent No.: ZL202420884963.1 Thanks to the patented uniform magnetic field design, the magnetic field area is expanded. This not only contributes to the high sensitivity of the FT7's large 106 mm driver, but also helps to reduce the weight of the driver, thereby improving wearing comfort. Each driver in the FT7 features 18 powerful N52 neodymium magnets with a magnetic flux of up to 1.5 T. The magnets provide ample energy reserves for excellent transient response and structured bass. 5-40kHz wide frequency response, hear every detail Flagship quality, but easy to carry, weighing 427g Comfort is something FiiO has always paid attention to. Although the FT7 has a large 106mm planar driver, it weighs only 427g, which is exceptional among high-end planar headphones. Large carbon fiber housing No expense has been spared to reduce the weight of the headphones as much as possible. As a result, much of the headphones are made of lightweight, high-strength carbon fiber, making the FT7 comfortable to wear even during long listening sessions. Cryogenic treatment at -192°C Liquid nitrogen-frozen monocrystalline copper cable A new cable made from over 6N OCC (99.99998%) high-purity monocrystalline copper has been specially developed and tuned for the FT7 and its sound characteristics. The copper undergoes a 7-day low-temperature treatment with frozen nitrogen at -192°C. This accelerates the breakdown of internal stresses in the metal material and the alignment and narrowing of the crystal boundaries to improve electrical conductivity and signal transmission. This ensures that free electrons can flow smoothly from one atom to another in the conductor, improving sound quality. In addition, PFA with a dielectric constant of only 2.1 is chosen as the insulating layer for the cable. PFA has damping and shock-resistant properties that can also contribute to the sound image. Planar headphones generally have high resolution but tend to sound a little “dry.” The PFA insulating layer not only preserves the high resolution of the single-crystal copper wire, but also helps to adjust the mid and low frequencies, adding a touch of richness to the sound for a relaxed and enjoyable listening experience. The first of its kind, hemp finds yet another purpose in The Hemp Headphone.
A brilliant, warm, and precise sound rolled into a Limited Edition Grado.
• Housing: Hemp / Maple Wood
• Transducer Type: Dynamic
• Operating Principle: Open Air
• Frequency Response: 13hz-28kHz
• SPL 1mW: 98 • Normal Impedance: 38 ohms
• Driver Matched db: .05 db
To be blunt… Into the Unknown In our never-ending pursuit to experiment with all types of woods and materials, we had the opportunity to build with hemp. We weren't sure how these hemphones would turn out, but to everyone’s surprise it quickly became a favorite passed around Grado. To be blunt, this is one of the best sounding Limited Editions we've built.
The Sound of Wood. Built from Hemp The highly compressed hemp creates a damping effect between their fibers. This produces a fuller sound, comprised of a noticeable low end and a top end that extends smoothly to its limits. The hemp may be doing the heavy lifting, but the hemphone is a joint effort. We built maple into the housing to help balance out the sound, and bring out the sonic properties that we’ve heard maple produce. #
Specifically Tuned. Driver Focused The Grado drivers built into the hemp housings had to be specifically tuned for a material we’ve never worked with before. Being paired with maple gave us some foresight, but only through trial-and-error could we get the speakers to sound how we wanted, and bring out the potential of the hemp.
Signature Sound. High Expectations The last seven decades has given us time to perfect our sound, letting the headphones reveal new notes and details in songs heard hundreds of times. The Hemp Headphone is a slow burn, constantly getting better with every listen. As we make sure with every headphone we build our Grado signature sound is ever-present, working in tandem with the hemp and maple.
With Love. Hand-Built in Brooklyn Each Hemp Headphone is hand-built by our team in Brooklyn. Fine rolled for every genre of music, hemp and maple work together for the first time to bring a new level of vibrancy to our Limited Editions. We started building on a kitchen table in 1953, and every experience since then has led to the creation of The Hemp Headphone.

In Sanskrit, the word "deva" stands for something divine, heavenly, excellent. Indian mythology knows 33 devas - angelic counterparts of demons who act on a higher level than man. In the case of HIFIMAN, one is inclined to call the DEVA model a supporter of good sound. The DEVA Wired comes without the Bluemini Bluetooth module. Nevertheless, its focus is on mobile use with a player. The scope of delivery includes the corresponding cable with 6.35 mm jack adapter. In principle, DEVA can be operated symmetrically with an appropriate cable upgrade. For DEVA, the source does NOT have to be a sound superior device! In terms of price, it is below the HIFIMAN SUNDARA. In contrast, the DEVA is the more forgiving headphone, which does not let weaknesses in the recording stand out so clearly. For those who only value sound quality, have a good headphone output and are willing to forego mobility, the SUNDARA is the right choice. If you're looking for a really big, mobile cinema, you should consider the ANANDA-BT.Frequency response: 20 Hz to 20 kHzImpedance: 18 ΩSound pressure level: 93.5 dBWeight: approx. 360 gConnection: TRRS, 3.5 mm
HIFIMAN HE400SE - HIFIMAN does it again! The HIFIMAN HE400SE headphones in summary: If HIFIMAN has just surprised us with the HE400i version 2020 and its excellent price / performance ratio, they get a short time later to the next trick: The HIFIMAN HE400SE! Based on the HE400i V2020, but even more affordable and intended for mobile use.The highlights of the HIFIMAN HE400SE at a glance: -The perfect mobile companion - Low impedance, high efficiency. -Mag(net)ic attraction - "STEALTH MAGNET"- planar magnetic driver design -New Cable - This offer is for the HE400se with the upgraded cable. -Beveled ear pads - Noise isolation and temperature balancing -Optimized headband - Nicer, lighter and more comfortable to wear -Extremely convertible - Easily replace headphone cableSmall currents, big sound - The perfect headphones for on the goHIFIMAN HE400SE in profileIf the "brother in spirit", the HIFIMAN HE400 V2020 with its 35 Ω impedance is already a fairly uncomplicated contemporary, the HE400SE makes life even easier for the smartphone or computer with its 25 Ω impedance. With its efficiency of 91 decibels, it is ensured that even the rather coarse volume control of smartphones allows an accurate level gradation, without quiet or loud music passages requiring readjustment. Last but not least, the frequency range of 20 hertz to 20 kilohertz also shows that practical planning was done here, with a focus on entry-level and mid-range cell phones and music players.Sounds exciting? Just try it out and see for yourself.Planar-magnetic instead of dynamic - sound with appealJust like the HE400i V2020, the HIFIMAN HE400SE uses a planar-magnetic drive, albeit modified. What is still the same, however, is that instead of a classic diaphragm and voice coil immersed in a magnet, a thin foil crisscrossed with wires is used between a series of permanent magnets to generate sound.Planar-magnetic headphones have the advantage over their classically electrodynamically driven cousins in that the efficiency is very high due to the larger drive, and the impulse fidelity and resolution are also incredibly high due to the extremely light foil. All it takes is a little more space (i.e., a larger enclosure) than most common headphones.
Angled ear pads - Comfortable and undisturbed listeningWhen you put on your headphones, that's the starting point for the "concert for one". Whether relaxed or rousing, the music plays just for you. To make sure it stays that way, the ear pads are beveled so that they rest perfectly on your ear and block out distracting noise from outside. The ear pads themselves are made of soft and skin-friendly velour, covered with a durable layer of artificial leather. This guarantees first-class sound coupled with maximum comfort.Headset optimized for mobile use - Tight but comfortableThe headband (i.e. the mechanical connection between the two earcups from ear to ear) relies on - you guessed it - the same concept as the 2020 model. HIFIMAN HE400SE. In other words, a combination of light weight and pleasantly even contact pressure."Contact pressure" is exactly the right keyword, though. After all, the HIFIMAN HE400SE sits a bit more firmly on the head than its 2020 counterpart. As a result, this version of the HE400 is once again recommended for use on the road, where things can get "down to business".Small but clever changes - even in the headphone cableThe HIFIMAN HE400i version 2020 is delivered with a rather solid cable with a noble fabric jacket, which makes it perfect for stationary use at the PC or home headphone amplifier. However, since the HE400SE is aimed more at mobile use, the headphone cable here was also in doubt and reconsidered. On the road, the cable must be flexible, fit into a pocket and also withstand bad weather (such as rain). A textile jacket seemed unsuitable and so HIFIMAN opted for a rubber coating for the cable. What has remained, however, is the adapter from 3.5 mm jack to 6.3 mm jack in the scope of delivery and the possibility to easily replace the headphone cable thanks to the 3.5 mm jack connections on the headphones. So, which type are you? Relaxed listening to music at home or music always with you? No matter what you choose, HIFIMAN has the right headphones for you.
For the name of the HIFIMAN Sundara, the company has once again used Sanskrit. There, the word stands for "grace" or "beauty" - terms that perfectly match the sound quality of the new headphone model. In his new magnetostat, company boss Dr. Fang Bian uses membranes that are 80% thinner than those of the successful HE-400 model. This way, he achieves a successful combination of richness of detail and velvety sound. The drivers operate in the range from 6 Hz up to 75,000 Hz. At the same time, it has been possible to increase the characteristic sound pressure level to 92 dB. With a stable impedance of 32 ohms, the Sundara can now be easily combined with the phone or music player of choice.A new headband design ensures good comfort. The ear cup itself and also its holder are now no longer made of plastic, but of aluminium. Nevertheless, the weight has been kept at only 372 g. The connection cables remain detachable and have 3.5 mm jack plugs on the earpiece side. The length of 1.5 m is chosen for mobile and desk use. An adapter for use with headphone outputs with a large jack is included. For the new ear pads, HIFIMAN has used the HE1000 V2 as a model and these are now fitted with polyester on the side facing the ear so that even long listening sessions can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner. The headband itself and the outer part of the ear pads are made of imitation leather. If older HIFIMAN models were simply too big, you will be pleased with the new headband design with its extended adjustment range.
