The Fiio JM21 has been upgraded to the more common balanced 4.4mm headphone jack, which provides more reliable and durable connections.
It also includes a 3.5mm single-sided headphone jack so that it is compatible with the various headphones that you already own. In addition to supporting two headphone outputs, the JM21 also provides a maximum output power of up to 700mW, making it compatible with a wider range of headphones.

The low-power features of the 680 processor enable a thinner and lighter product, greatly improving portability.
Combined with two low-power Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips, the JM21 can achieve a stable battery life of over 9 hours (9.5 hours in balanced mode, 12.5 hours in single-ended mode) even with a 2400mAh battery.
The JM21 features a two-tone frame design with an aluminium alloy middle frame and plastic back cover. This design makes the product appear sleeker. The aluminium alloy middle frame provides sturdy support and protection for the display.
The plastic back cover was chosen for its light weight and also serves as the battery compartment. The back cover has a bevelled surface for a better grip.
