The FIIO K17 is equipped with an M 21586 Q DSP chip that can perform 64-bit floating point calculations with double precision and operates at a high clock frequency of 360 MHz. This chip is complemented by an ES9821Q high-performance ADC and a specially adapted femtosecond crystal oscillator with very low phase noise. These three components enable the user to utilize the high-precision 31-band lossless PEQ in all modes. The PEQ is designed to ensure that the audio signal retains high fidelity even after processing. The chip also enables a robust output protection function, ensuring that headphones and other connected audio devices are fully protected. 

7.84-inch color screen, excellent usability 
Thanks to the larger color screen compared to similar products, combined with the custom Android 12, which has a custom portrait display system, the display is clear and easy to read. Direct interaction with the device is intuitive, making it easy to perform various operations right out of the box. You can directly feel how every touch gets you to your destination easily and quickly. 

Discrete Class AB transistor current amplifier Headphone amplifier 
A key component of the K17 is a carefully designed, fully discrete amplifier circuit for headphones. The discrete circuit is designed as an OP+ transistor current amplifier and is equipped with the classic pair of ON semiconductor transistors MJE 243/253. They are capable of generating high currents with low output impedance. The result is an output power of up to 4000mW+4000mW in balanced mode, almost twice as much as the K9 Pro ESS. It is capable of driving various types of headphones and in-ear headphones with ease, producing a smooth, pleasant and natural sound. 

AKM flagship DAC AK4191+ 2x AK4499EX 
The K17 features AKM's flagship DAC chip combination - AK4191+2xAK4499EX. Each channel is driven by two AK4499EX chips. The 8-channel to 4-channel LPF design reduces common mode interference, resulting in better channel separation and dynamics. It also features a newly designed architecture with fully separated digital/analog sections, including the newly developed “DWA Routing” technology for an even cleaner sound background and improved resolution.

Fully balanced design 
From the DAC to the I/V conversion to the low-pass filtering and the two headphone amplifiers, the entire audio circuit is built in a fully differential circuit architecture. This ensures both a high dynamic range of the signals and significantly reduced crosstalk. Various parts of the audio circuitry, including the I/V converters and LPF stages, use multiple OPA 1612 low-noise precision operational amplifiers to ensure dynamic audio output. 

Physically separated circuit boards
