The M25 sits comfortably in the hand and houses a flagship level acoustic core.

On one side, the modern, lively sound of AKM, on the other, the classic charm of R2R PRO. This new generation of desktop class sound for the hand offers a device with two sound characters.

Superior Performance, Smooth Operation

The M25 is built on the Snapdragon 778G architecture (QCS6490). Its 8 core design with A78 performance cores and clock speeds of up to 2.7 GHz exceeds the processor performance typical of its class. It is paired with a combination of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, larger than is usual in this class. This lets the system run smoothly and stably. Several permanently open apps, loading large music libraries and streaming service playback are all handled with ease.

M25 R2R

In house developed 24+5 bit segmented R2R PRO resistor array

The M25 R2R uses FiiO's own 24+5 bit segmented R2R PRO resistor array. Thanks to its segmented architecture, the upper 5 bits are decoded via 31 resistors with thermometer coding. This solves the error accumulation problem found in conventional R2R designs and lowers distortion. R2R PRO preserves the analog character of R2R while also improving detail resolution, dynamics and soundstage.

Gently WARM retains the high resolution while adding a warm, smooth texture.

Each profile can be activated independently and can also be combined with the advanced audio dynamics enhancement DRE.

Full Desktop Level Audio Architecture, M25 R2R

The fully differential audio architecture is designed to desktop standards. From decoding through volume control to the headphone amplifier output, four independent signal paths are maintained throughout. This combines the natural, warm sound of R2R with solid, powerful drive.

Every Component Serves the Sound

The entire signal chain relies on audiophile grade components: KEMET tantalum capacitors with very high capacitance, AVX manganese dioxide tantalum capacitors, 65 A high current MOSFETs for low loss power path management, Rubycon film capacitors, numerous low noise, high precision film resistors with low temperature drift, and FiiO's individually matched femtosecond oscillator.

Multi Stage Filtering, Multiple Separated Power Supplies

Multi stage filtering and separated supply zones effectively reduce power supply noise and crosstalk between modules. The result is a cleaner background and more headroom for the sound.

Dedicated XMOS XU316 chip

The standalone XMOS XU316 chip offers high performance, low latency and strong interference immunity. The M25 can be connected to computers, smartphones, tablets and other devices and used as an external HD sound card. It suits music, films and games alike, with a clean signal and consistently stable sound quality.

6th generation DAPS audio cleaning system, developed in house by FiiO

The new generation of FiiO's proprietary DAPS audio cleaning system features the same high capacity FPGA as the M27, along with individually matched, high performance dual femtosecond oscillators. This gives the digital signal transmission an exceptional level of precision with extremely low jitter. The audio stream stays clean and stable, and the sound clear and transparent.

31 band lossless PEQ + AUTO EQ

Finely adjustable, and simple enough for beginners to adapt the sound with a single tap. The high precision, lossless 31 band PEQ allows fine tuning of the sound and correction of your headphones' frequency response for a fully individual sound signature. AUTO EQ, with several preset sound styles, adapts the sound with a tap, so that even users without prior experience can find their ideal listening experience.

In the online community, EQ curves can be shared and downloaded, letting you benefit from the favorite EQs of audio enthusiasts from around the world. EQ settings can be managed on the web and on mobile.

6500 mAh Battery with High Temperature Safety

High capacity for long runtime, efficient fast charging. The large battery combines long endurance with safe operation. It supports 30 W charge pump fast charging, compatible with QC3.0, QC4.0, PD2.0, PD3.0 and PPS, so the player is quickly recharged.

Dual Power Supply System: Refined and Powerful

Big Ear mode

When a fast charger is connected to any Type C port, Big Ear mode is activated. Output power reaches 1700 mW + 1700 mW per channel, driving headphones of all kinds more effectively.

Pure drive

Power is drawn from the external source. Hardware amplification along with thin film resistors and capacitors with low temperature drift are among the measures used to keep output noise comprehensively under control.

Comfortable in the Hand, Powerful Core

The 5.5 inch HD display (1080 x 2160, 18:9 in the golden ratio) offers a wide field of view with clear, generously sized information. The proportions of the housing are finely tuned, combining a large screen feel with comfortable one handed operation.

Compared to the M15S, output power is 41% higher, weight is 27 g lower, thickness is 0.9 mm less and width is 4 mm narrower.
